This article explains the UserCode functionality to take a weekly Sales Forecast and breakdown each week into daily Buckets.

Inputs:

A Sales Forecast ready for import into Veloc in Weekly buckets. 

This may have been produced independently or be an export from the SimpleForecasting Module.

Tables Required:

An Auxiliary Table is required in the dataset Auxiliary Tables workbook. This should be in a worksheet titled "Sales Profiling" and should be structured as per the image below.

Function:

The routine will take each element of a weekly forecast and break it down into a daily forecast according to the percentage in the table. This is invariably better than attempting daily forecasting.

Output:

A CSV file with daily item forecasts ready for import into a Veloc dataset with daily buckets. Normal forecast rules can be applied once imported.
